Bicycling Magazine Reviews the Trek 1.2 WSD
10/13/2009
What does Bicycling Magazine have to say? Why does it beat the competition?
“Feel like a racer. With its relatively light weight, stable yet lively ride and not-too-upright geometry, the 1.2 WSD climbs nimbly and corners with confidence, so you feel fast.”
“The 1.2 WSD is versatile and will let you upgrade easily as you improve – and the stiff, responsive frame will have you riding more.”

The Savannah Bicycle Campaign
Tybee to Savannah Trailblazers’ Ride
Sunday, November 08, 2009, 9:00 AM
Do you ever wonder why it has to be so dangerous to ride a bike between Tybee and Savannah? Wouldn’t it be great to have safe access, and to open up a whole new outlet for locals and tourists to make day trips between Savannah and the beach on a bike? We think so, and we hope you can join us on this ride to highlight the need to make a safe connection. We’ll ride from Tybee City Hall to Savannah with a police escort to keep us all safe. Route covers 22 miles including a quick spin around Tybee to see the sights.
Tour de Georgia 2008. Why should only pro racers get this opportunity?

CAMDEN BICYCLE CENTER is presented the Bicycle Friendly Business Award from the League of American Bicyclists.
Bicycling is good for communities, for businesses, and for people. It promotes active, healthy lifestyles, reduces traffic congestion, and improves air quality — and it’s fun!
The Bicycle Friendly Business (BFB) program recognizes employers’ efforts to encourage a more bicycle friendly atmosphere for employees and customers. The program honors innovative bike-friendly efforts and provides technical assistance and information to help companies and organizations become even better for bicyclists. There are five award levels : Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Honorable Mention. This new initiative complements the League’s Bicycle Friendly Community (BFC) program, which has been recognizing cities and towns for their bicycle friendliness since 2003.
Terry and Darlene received the national award during their recent trip to the International Bicycle Industry Trade Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
